CONSUMER EDUCATION: What's in it for us?

                   We almost shop everyday. Be it from buying groceries,  food , clothes, or birthday presents to buying big items like a new television set, a new computer, an IPAD or even getting a hair cut or signing up for a spa package. Many a times whether conciously or unconciously we will go through a series of decison-making before we finally make the purchase. Nevertheless, as a consumer myself I realise that it is important for us to to go deeper into understanding what is in it for us as consumers. We have to know our rights and more importantly we have to know the different avenues that we can approach  whenever a conflict arise and this is far more than just writing in a feedback letter.

             We should strived to be an informed consumer so that there will never be once we look back and regret our own purchase for afterall it was our decision to pay. We just made a wrong decison. Thus with this series of Consudmer Education, hopefully we need not need to ever regret our choice.

           Firstly before we step out and make another purchase we have to learn the art of managing our own resources. This is largely based on what we have to spend. Secondly, we have to know our rights and responsibilities as consumers. Lastly only then we will decide on our product choice.

           Hopefully through this we will feel EMPOWERED to make the INFORMED CHOICES for ourselves.
