Consumer Education ll- Towards Becoming an Empowered Consumer

So what's in it again to be one POWERFUL CONSUMER?

First you have to capture the ART of  MANAGING YOUR OWN RESOURCES.
One good way of managing in my opinion  is straighthening out what we have, then what we can have and lastly is how we can use them?

Firstly even before I want to buy anything it is logical that we see our capability of how much we have that we can buy.

MONEY MANAGEMENT covers the aspect on how we manage our money. It all starts with having our own monthly Expense List. Over the span, we realise there some of our expense have become our monthly neccesities. These are our NEEDS which in others' view could be their WANTS. My needs could include  my monthly mobile broadband internet bill, a monthly maintenance visit to a tricologist as I am having a bad hairfall experience.

Secondly what we have to look into is BUDGETING. This is very useful method to adopt when we want to buy something of a high value or planning for an event from birthday patrty, to a wedding or even to a holiday.

Lastly something that we might overlook as we do not realised its importance is instilling the ENTREPRENEURIALSHIP in us. This does not mean starting a business immediately. It could start from simply turning our hobby into a little business like selling DIY brooches or rings.Maybe even making  and selling festive cookies for friends or providing Henna painting services. We have to see this is the best way to ensure more income coming in and more importanly making us a more sociable person yet a greater thinker.
We will look into entrepreneurialship in the next posting.

Now following managung our own resources, we have to know and understand our rights that is CONSUMER RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. This is to ensure that we stay abreast to what we can and shoukd not do as a true , genuine customer.

Last but not list to complete our Consumer Education we have to adopt the ART OF MAKING THE RIGHT PRODUCT CHOICE.
